Born and raised in South Los Angeles, Evelyn has an affinity for forming connections with people both in the digital realm and IRL. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric and Media Studies from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR, Evelyn took her passions for interpersonal relationships into the world of higher education where she served as an Admissions Counselor at her alma mater. Her interests in diversity and inclusion led her to assist in her college’s multicultural recruitment programming and efforts. Following her time in higher education, Evelyn pursued a career in marketing at a creative boutique agency where she collaborated on projects for the Oregon Humane Society, Atrio Health, and other companies.

After living in the luscious greenery of Portland, OR, Evelyn returned to her hometown of South LA where she spends ample time enjoying hikes at Griffith Park and gorging on IN-N-OUT (no shame in the game).
