Juliana Woodruff is the Manager of K-12 Education at DoGoodery, where she oversees the Cal Water H20 Challenge. Juliana has a background in education, a love of science, and understands the importance of developing and nurturing a relationship with nature for youth to encourage new perspectives and compassion for others. She believes strongly in educational equity and giving all students the opportunity to experience the beauty and lessons of nature.

As the former Program Director for The Wildwoods Foundations, Juliana has provided environmental education for thousands of students across Los Angeles and oversaw all school and family programs. While at Wildwoods, Juliana supported educators and students’ exploration of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) by creating seven videos which explore the crosscutting concepts.

She also developed lending kits to support teachers as they enter into the outdoor classroom. Juliana has worked in the educational field for over a decade and earned her M.A. in Educational Foundations while studying Elementary Teaching, focusing on opportunity and educational equity for all students.
