Bio

With over thirty years of sales and marketing experiences in the IT industry, Patrice is recognized as an inspiring leader who analyzes complex business challenges, creates/drives innovative solutions, and delivers tangible impactful results while building high performing sustainable teams. While at Cisco, she was VP of Americas Marketing and Communications (AMC) organization, which comprises the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

Patrice led a 200+ person team that was focused on delivering personalized, real-time compelling customer experiences so customers can discover what is possible with information technology to solve their business needs. The team drove strategic marketing and communications for more than $29 billion in annual sales.

Previously at Cisco, Patrice served as Senior Director of Marketing and led a high-impact team for Cisco’s $5 billion U.S. public sector business. Prior to Cisco, she was Director of U.S. federal and public sector marketing and sales at Hewlett Packard, where she was part of the top-ranked U.S. sales team, two years in a row. In this role, she was consistently in the HP “Achievers Club,” and recognized as HP Federal Manager of the Year. Patrice has also held sales and management positions at Entex Information Services.

Patrice has a passion for helping companies and countries enrich and transform communities and lives through information technology. Industry has recognized her expertise through awards, including the Women in Technology Corporate Leadership Award, Ingram Micro’s “Women in Technology Giving Back” Award, YWCA’s “Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN)” Award, Federal Computer Week’s “Federal 100” Award, the “Idealist of the Year” by City Year Washington D.C. and the Cisco Multiplier Effect Award that inspires a legacy of diversity and inclusion.

Patrice is dedicated to mentoring people in the IT industry and advocating for children’s health and mental health issues. She is active in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, University of MD Advanced Fetal Care Center and is an advocate for the Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health. She was on the Cisco Connected Women Advisory Board and an executive co-sponsor of the Cisco Connected Women Employee Resource Group – VA/MD/DC chapter. She was an executive sponsor of the Cisco Empowered Women’s Network, Vice Chair of the Million Women Mentors Leadership Council, is a board member at Clarion University School of Business, and is on the American Red Cross Board of Directors – National Capital Region.

Patrice holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She is also a graduate of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the International Women’s Forum Fellows Program – Harvard Business School and INSEAD. She currently resides in Ellicott City, MD, with her husband and two daughters.
