“Ships that pass in the night, and speak each other in passing,
Only a signal shown and a distant voice in the darkness;
So on the ocean of life we pass and speak one another,
Only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence.”
– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Tales of a Wayside Inn

As the Director of Programs Administration at DoGoodery, Chris oversees DoGoodery’s day-to-day programmatic operations, ensuring initiatives adhere to agreed upon scopes of work and timelines. Furthermore, he collaborates on overall program strategy, communications, evaluation, and engagement, while overseeing program design, delivery, and maintenance, and coordinates design, delivery, and maintenance of all program deliverables.
Chris Hutton has over nine years of experience as a project and programs manager and over thirteen years of experience as a copywriter, designer, and web developer. Since 2004 he has designed, coded, coordinated, written copy for, contributed to, and/or managed websites for a variety of clients, including The Walt Disney Company, Midnight Oil, Cal Water Service, UL, NAAEE, and various reality television production companies and has served as a project or programs manager since 2010 with these same clients. While with NAAEE (2014-2019), he worked on day-to-day operations and program management for the Cal Water H2O Challenge and the UL Innovative Education Award helping launch each program and overseeing their first five years of operation.
When Chris is not directly overseeing some facet of a social impact program, he spends his time wrangling his daughter, and his many rescue animals, which currently include an overly-enthusiastic Engilsh Pointer, three indifferent cats, and a reclusive hedgehog. He is also a writer of science-fiction and horror, and a video game enthusiast with a passion for retro-gaming.
